Welcome to Killarney Community College. We are a Secondary School, under the governing body of Kerry Education and Training Board (Kerrry ETB). The College is co-educational and multi-belief in ethos.
Our website serves to explain to students and parents the day to day functioning of our school and the vast array of facilities, activities and broad curriculum that are on offer. It is difficult in a website to reflect the warm atmosphere and great pupil teacher relationship but we endeavour to give you a taste of life within the College.
Our aim in the College is to create a school where each person is respected, valued and supported. The College has a caring, committed and highly skilled staff and while placing emphasis on the academic tradition of our school, we are extremely conscious of providing a holistic education for all students.
We endeavour to work in partnership with all members of the school community: students, teachers, parents and the Board of Management. Together the College community developed a mission statement. This acts as a constant reminder of the important principles under which the College operates:
