It was great to welcome the town mayor and Councillor Martin O’Grady to the school to speak with both the 6LCA students, who are completing a module on town development, and the 5th-year Geography group. Students were brought up to date on development plans for the area over the next three years, including housing, road development, hospitality, and environmental sustainability. As a past pupil of the school, Martin also spoke about his own career path, which was a great opportunity for students to see where their studies can lead.
