Think Languages Week

Think Languages Week

At Killarney Community College, in conjunction with Think Languages Week, transition year students are actively involved in preparing for a language festival. This festival serves as a platform for students to showcase and celebrate the diverse languages and cultures present within the school community. Through various activities such as language workshops, cultural displays, performances, and interactive sessions, students are encouraged to embrace and appreciate the rich variety of languages and traditions that exist within their school. This week not only promotes linguistic diversity but also fosters an inclusive and multicultural environment where students can learn from one another and develop a deeper understanding of different cultures.

Today in the gym we got together our 29 nationalities and formed a TL to represent the Think Languages celebration
