Our Transition Year students enjoyed a fantastic day of learning and leadership yesterday as they completed the GAA Introduction to Coaching Gaelic Games course with Vince Cooper.
The course covered the key principles of coaching, including developing fundamental movement and Gaelic Games skills, organising fun and progressive activities, planning coaching sessions, and using effective communication and coaching techniques.
Congratulations to all our TY students who successfully completed the course and achieved their coaching accreditation.
This qualification equips them with the skills and knowledge to assist with coaching Gaelic Games activities, supporting coaches in creating safe, enjoyable and inclusive sporting experiences for younger players.
It was a brilliant opportunity for students to develop their leadership, communication and teamwork skills while giving back to their local GAA communities.
