The first fish of the KCC Fishing Club was caught on The Deenagh River today. Jack Ryan Brain had the honour! This was followed by 6 more trout all caught on the worm. Victoria caught her first fish and Alannah caught a salmon parr! We saw a big fish splash and after further investigation Jack identified a spent salmon; that is a fish that has spawned and may return to sea. Our first outing was a great success and has only whetted our fishy appetites for more!
