As part of Engineers week Killarney Community College visited Liebherr Cranes site in Fossa this morning. As always the students got a warm welcome by the staff there. Our group attended a short presentation on history of the factory, what Liebherr offers on production, education, scholarship and career opportunities. Then it was the trip throughout the whole site in an out of buildings one bigger than the other as we went along. Students were amazed by the scale of the production. Teachers even got to meet some past pupils along the way and remember good times at KCC! Killarney Community College has always had great links with this great employer in the town. We look forward to strengthening those links in the years ahead. We would like to thank the many staff that helped out from Liebherr today for the efforts you made to make this visit as wonderful as it was.
